About a year ago, sometime in May, some relatives of ours' cat had a litter of kittens. One of these kittens was a beautiful little calico, a female. When they couldn't keep her, we adopted her and gladly took her in and renamed her Cora. She was the friendliest little kitten you'd ever see. She loved to play with just about anything, and would always wait for you to get home.
Later on, we also adopted her shy, quick and skiddish sister and we renamed her Suki. Since our older cat had been with us, and was protective of her territory, Cora was glad to have a playmate of her kind. Although Suki didn't grow to like us we still liked her.
Months later, Cora had suddenly gone missing. We waited for her to come back (Note that they're outdoor cats and usually are gone for a day) But she never came back. After a few weeks of no sign of her, we admitted she was dead. Later, her sister Suki also went missing. Now all we have is our older cat, who we also love to bits.
Rest In Peace Cora and Suki

I'm so sorry. I've had a cat run away too, but it doesn't mean they're dead. Someone might of found them and thought they were strays and took them to the shelter or took them themselves.
